Kenneth Owens

Rev Kenneth Owens has replaced Rev Stewart McGregor as convener of the Healthcare Chaplaincy Training and Development Group. Kenneth is parish priest of St John Vianney's in Gilmerton in Edinburgh and Dean of Holy Rood Deanery in the South East Wedge of the city.
In addition to parish ministry he has taught ethics at tertiary level for five years. Over the past six years he has researched and acted as a consultant within the healthcare system for the Roman Catholic tradition. Pastoral supervision and professional ethics in ministry are two areas he is committed to and has given workshops on recently. At present he is pursuing a management qualification through the Open University.
Kenneth enjoys foreign travel, good quality wine and relaxes by extending his culinary repertoire.
