- To be a professional body representing the interests
of chaplains in healthcare
- To promote, set and maintain high standards of chaplaincy
and provide a Code of Practice to further them
- To provide support and fellowship
- To provide training and educational opportunities
- To develop and promote special interest groups
- To promote theological reflection
- To establish and promote good working relationships
with religious and other organisations concerned with the promotion
of healthcare
- To keep and publish a register of members.
