Soundings Page 8 The next SACH AGM is to be held at 10.30 am on Thursday 10 October 2002 at Stirling Royal Infirmary. Speakers are still to be confirmed. Anne Harper, has now served three years as President and has indicated that she would like to stand down. We are also creating a new Membership Secretary post (see below) Good news on the issue of Data Protection. It looks as if chaplains are to be considered part of the clinical care team. This means that we should continue to have access to admission lists etc. Anne Harper and Keith Saunders represented SACH at a meeting (organised by the Department of National Mission) of those interested in Professional Registration of chaplains. A small group was set up and asked to produce a paper which will be presented to the Working Group on Spirituality. We are looking into locum cover for chaplains attending the General Assembly. There seems to be inadequate provision of cover where there are only one or two post holders. Subscriptions for SACH are to go up (for the first time since SACH came into being). The new rates will be:

Looking
for The Executive has agreed that it would be significantly helpful to have someone who could act in the capacity of Membership Secretary, being responsible for the smooth and efficient handling of the Membership Register. This would greatly assist the Secretary and the Treasurer in their work. We are looking for someone who could:-
