The Scottish Association for Pastoral Care and Counselling (SAPCC) held its annual conference this year on Saturday 10 November at New College, Edinburgh. Over 40 people gathered to hear Mark Cobb speak on the theme of “assessing spiritual needs” and to participate in workshops discussing the care of people experiencing long term illness (physical and mental) and the ethics of caring.
SAPCC is planning to hold a lecture, in memory of the late Margaret Allen, in the spring of 2002.
